Andre's 672whp Twin Scroll S362 FMW

Andre has had us tune his car over the last 3 years or so that he has owned it and it has been a journey alot of us have taken. Stock turbo on pumpgas, stock turbo on E85, and was happy with the 391 it put out on stock cams. This was only fun for awhile though and the bug bit again and off he went. After purchasing some 10.5:1 Wiseco pistons, GSC S2s and springs , Fuel Injector Clinic 1650cc injectors, and the parts to do a motor, Andre moved on to the turbo kit.

Doing something a little different than the rest he opted for a Journal bearing Borg Warner S362. This has the FMW wheel, what we normally think of as "billet", so it spools a little faster and makes a little more power. This was coupled with a forward facing twin scroll turbo kit and used a 1.0 housing.

The results speak for themselves-

We were at 90% IDC even with the BR double pumper so the next step will be 2150s and possibly larger pumps.

Aaron, I've been looking at this turbo. How do you think it would spool with 9:1 compression on the corn. As much as I love my TS HTA3076 set up, big turbo fever is starting to take over.

On your 2.3 I think this would build boost even faster and make the same power at lower boost. The compression helps of course, but this I wsa only feeding 15* at 8K so I was keeping it on the safe side. The car sees a lot of trips to Mexico and you know how warm it can be there

That turbo yes. Also 3rd gear on these pulls, it hooked well enough it didnt need 4th to make it work right.

.

Thanks for the info. Mine is still a 2.0, but I'm hoping the spool difference is negligible between 9:1 and 10.5:1. I know the compression helps power output, but I'm hoping to counter that with my mad fab skillz..
