EVO IX, stock block, HKS 7460 KAI, GSC S2, 93 octane
Here is a friends Evo 9 I am building... first tune, have to play a bit more with mivec tuning and boost...
Spec:
-Stock block
- head with cleaned up valve bowls and ports, 3 angle valve job, stock valves
- GSC S2 with kiggley beehives
- homemade COP kit
- custom IC piping 65mm dia, short route with minimal bends (runs trough the left wing)
- cheap tube and fin IC
- warlbro 255 with ASNU 1000 CC injectors
- stock intake rubber pipe with kn filter and custom airbox
- custom turbo elbow: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...-downpipe.html
- gasket matched turbine to exhaust manifold flanges
Still to do: SD conversion and propper intake pipe.. we tried the ETS intake but it wouldn't work with the MAF and HKS/cams combo on idle
Car spools better than stock, real nice throttle response.. almost like NA engine..
Thanks to English Racing and Aaron on parts and advice..

this is european "98" which translates to USA 93 I believe... although our local fuel is not of greatest quality so we tend to have some problems because the quality varies from pump to pump. We also have 100 octane although that tends to vary too, so I map on most videly avaialble 98 just to be safe..

frankly speaking I have no idea as I do not have a boost sensor on the EUDM car.. Will measure it later but the boost target is 270 load, and looking at the log I have 270 peak and then 265 - 260 up to 7000 RPM and then tapering down to some 245 -250 at 7400
boost is tricky to compare as it depends on the cams too...
I did not want to go mad on the boost low down as this i stock block on 6 spd transmission

what kind of load do you see, and which cams?
