I just wrapped the end of mine with two layers of nylon cloth (leftover stuff from the days when I was into custom car audio) and ziptied it.

Way lighter than a mini K&N cone filter.

haha. yea i do not think you even need a filter on there but someone told me to do it so i did. haha. it gives me something to think about while driving down the road.

I'm just giving you ****, i left mine open but i like the idea of a filter...
i should remove the hardline going to the front of the car though.
Off topic but has anyone been successful in removing the alternator without removing a halfshaft or intake manifold? I took mine out before when i had the halfshaft out but i don't feel like doing it at the moment just to build my current working alternator haha

i never had my alt off the car. pull the passenger wheel. see if you can possibly jiggle it threw there????

remove that hard line. it was pretty simple to do on jack stands. just be careful of the clips holding all the lines under the car when removing the one line.
