Mellon, I've used speaker box carpet and glued it to the floor. Turned out pretty well initially and weighs probably under 2 pounds. I saw initially simply because the glue hasn't held up very well.
I used 3M spray adhesive and it doesn't stick all that well. Needs something with a little more volume and holding power.

I have the same battery in my evo & as I've said before it's been a great battery. Only time I had an issue is when it sat for a month+ without being started...

A little different I know but hey it still counts in my books. I have been in the market for a new pair of shoes to wear when I go racing. I just got back from NYC and was able to try on a bunch of different brands. My brother in law bought a pair of the Adidas Adizeros and they are light but I didn't like how they felt. His weigh in at 8.2 oz each and are size 11.
After a little searching around I came accross these!
These are size 10 (normally I wear a 10.5 or so). I was a little torn on buying Sketchers but OMG were these nice!
An average shoe weighs at least twice the amount of this one. Together both shoes are well under a pound.

I'm on page 21 now. This weekend I removed 9 lbs of free weight. And I've ordered the Shorai Lithium battery, lightweight front ARB, and an aluminum driveshaft. looking at the carbon hook that Robi sells @ 5-6 lbs.... as well as a decent carbon trunk @ 6lbs... CNC E-brake....and the Hotchkis rear ARB. I hope to be hammering through the dash here shortly, and the wiring may happen sooner than I wanted. Thank you all for the advice and help.

Got bored today after work and decided to see what I could find to remove from the back seat area.
Center console ashtray removed and replaced with a carbon piece I made real quickly. Saved about 6 ounces, took 5 minutes.
Then started messing with the rear deck/parcel shelf/whatever you care to call the area above the back seats. Removed the hooks for the child seats and the seat belt mechanisms (removed the lower clip ins awhile ago so the upper parts have just been tucked behind my seats). Made some carbon pieces to fill the holes left. Also removed the padding and rubber pad underneath. Rubber pad weighed over two pounds if I remember correctly.
I'm going to try to keep better track of weight reduction I do, and posting pictures and what not for reference (removed about 15 pounds of unneeded stuff from the bay the other day but forgot to take pics or weights)
Just for fun
