Some audio ideas?

MBaran, i clean lightweight sub is the JL 12W1V2. throw 150watts RMS of clean class D power & it will be plenty loud + the sub only weighs 8.61lbs. the mounting depth is only 5.09" so u can use a small box for it. i would also look into a low THD 4ch amp such as the Coustic 1200Q (designed by MTX engineers) which has a THD+N of <0.25%.
for comparison, a McIntosh MCC204 50x4 amp has a THD of 0.005...
remember in audio u get what u pay for:
1)Coustic 1200Q-----$350
2)McIntosh MCC204-$2500

For a light weight/basic yet effective system. I would suggest a nice clean powerfull 4 channel amp to run the entire system. You might be suprised how well your factory speakers sound with clean signal behind them. In your case i would do 1-2 JL 8w3's ported, and an ARC kar series 600.4. Its arc's cheaper line, but still a nice item.
