I am happy to see that someone else is enjoying the enclosure. I posted a review a few weeks ago about the enclosure and received a less than stellar response .

can that enclosure take a jl w7 with good sound quality as well or does it have to be reinforced

It won't fit a 12W7 but we were looking at making a custom ring to be layed up during the fiberglass process that could hold a 10 W7. I can also have the fiberglass shop add some extra mat to the enclosure's walls to strengthen it up a bit. We'd make the mounting ring out of 3/4 & 1/2 inch mdf so you'll have 1.25 inches of total mounting ring thickness.

The 12W7 is just too large (deep) to fit, but the 10W7 would be a good match for the enclosure's size.
