WTF are you talking about???!! 4V output is not horrible. That's better than 70% of the decks out there.

Alpine 9883 FTW 4V outputs 22W RMSx4 channels and it switches between red and blue lighting

I personally like pioneer though, but they have very few red glowing decks.

Alpine for features, Eclipse for sound quailty, Pioneer elite for somewhere inbetween the two.

I think alpine's sound quailty sucks in every back to back test I've heard... but ton's of people who don't know what a DAC is will disagree.

I run an eclipse 8053 which is a deadhead, but the sound quailty, DAC and preouts (true 16V balanced) are UNREAL!!!

All new alpine headunits are more for multimedia and the enormal consumer. Myself and many others have lost repsect for their headunits. I refuse to buy any of their newer BestBuy special crap. If it is sound quality you want, Clarion DRZ 9255 all the way. If it is multimedia, spend your money elsewhere. Alpine sold out to sell more. I guess thats the trend though.

I am also looking for a headunit that has amber in it to match the gauges and comes with USB support for either my 4GB stick or perhaps a small 20GB drive from Newegg

What do you guys think about the Kenwoods:
