im actually running a braile racing battery... i forgot what amp is the fuse but its a big one and running 4 gauge power and ground wires... grounded the wire at a bolt in the trunk... the weird thing is my cap has a voltage readout...when i measure at the battery with multimeter with car off it reads around 12.8v but at the cap only reads about 12.4... and when the car running the cap is reading 13.8-14.1 which is fairly normal... i did use 16 gauge wire for the subwoofers so im going to upgrade them to atleast 12 gauge... right now i have it tuned around 60hz which sounds good below volume 22...any higher it just fades out and interior and dash light starts to dim...

I'm sure it's because you're
running a small battery.
They're definitely not designed
to put out that kinda power. I
guess the only thing you can do
besides going back to a larger
battery is upgrade the
alternator. Switching the
speaker wire is going to make
little difference if any, but it's
not a bad idea.
