Need some pointers to remove the center clock/vent piece

I am working on a something with the clock, and I need some poiters on how to easily remove the center dash piece with the clock and vents in it. Thanks in advance.
p.s. Best I could find is this: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...d.php?t=260781
but it doesn't say if the vents come out as well.

seems they make special tools for trim removal:

You just have to be really careful with metal implements like screwdrivers and whatnot. Its easy to scratch things up, and if you do, you can't help but notice that for years to come (at least I do with stuff I did on my old Eclipse)
