Pioneer AVIC-Z1 radio problem
I have the Z1 installed in my MR...radio hadn't been working for awhile because apparently the antenna wire was disconnected.
Earlier today I plugged the antenna wire in and the FM tuner works, but AM is straight static. Anyone else run into this issue? Any help would be greatly appreciated...thanks!

This is generally true. But Pioneer has never really had good AM reception. This problem is amplified (or attenuated... ha ha) when the vehicle it is being installed in has a baby rattail antenna or glass integrated antenna.

Can you take a picture of your dash with this unit installed, im thinking about getting a Z3 as well! So for thats my only complain about my EVO bad base sound system and no steering wheel audio control!
