Hello,

I own a 06 Evolution Mr. Having a problem with ignition and wipers. Car starts fine, but after driving to work some days you turn the ignition to off- it stays running, then after about 5-10 seconds it shuts off. Some days this doesn't happen! Also after about 45 mins. the dash lights come on, with key out of ignition? Has any one had these problems? The wipers wont shut off either doesn't matter if i put them on high or low, mist, wont shut off. Local shop looked at wiper problem, insisted me of repacing combination switch, I replaced the switch and didnt work.checked all relays/fuses. My car is complety stock with 59,000 miles. Purchased car from Calofornia a month ago from original owner.

This has been discussed many times. Your harness under the kickpanel on the drivers side footwell has got water intrusion and corrosion from a poorly sealed grommet on the firewall. Search and you will find several threads on this.

took a look at harness. Corrosion wires...Fixing now..thanks
