dont know about the v1, but got this from car & driver
................ because there is almost no "signal scatter" for a laser detector to pick up, most detectors can't warn you when Smokey is using lidar until the beam is already focused on your car-and that's usually too late to avoid a speeding ticket.
........thats if they were using lidar.

Detectors are illegal in VA, I think they have detectors for our detectors

The Bell STi is 99.9% undetectable. One of the best if you need to stealthy.

Send your Valentine 1 in for an update - it probably needs it plus Valentine will update your V1 for free.
Case in point - I'm following my GF in her car the other night and she starts to brake. I notice a bike cop about 100 yards up the road but my V1 doesn't go off. Later I asked her if her V1 went off and she said yes thats why she slowed down and that it was KA radar.
She has a brand new V1 and mine is about three years old. I'm sending it in for updates this week.
