Planning on installing an alarm on an RS, But....

I'm going to have to install door actuators for the locks. Does anyone have any bad experiences with aftermarket door actuators?

I'm looking to get this kit...

i had actuators put in my Civic. i know its not an Evo, but its a similar set up. The only problem i ever had, a friend borrowed my car and forced one of the doors unlocked. I just had to take the door panel off and readjust the linkage on the actuator.

I did alarm on my EX's RS. I used actuators out of a wrecked EVO I found hear on the forums and just ran the wiring from the alarm. Simple and didn't have to go through mounting aftermarket actuators.

Appeciate the response guys!

I guess ill go ahead and give it a try!

The chances of my finding used actuators from a crashed evo are probably slim to nothing. Ill give the aftermarket ones a try. Hopefully they dont give me any trouble.

if ur doing 2 wire actuators, on some alarms the worst part it wiring up the relays.
