installing a viper 5701 input

installing a viper 5701 input
So i recently picked up a evo from a member, and its great and all but I needed
some security on it and picked up a viper 5701. I am having a hard time with the install and ran into a couple of problems. The car had a alarm on it before
and it was messed up.
can someone tell me what the f*** is this? it is hooked up to wires under the steering column. it was under the dash zipped tie to the hvac cable.
these are the butt connectors to the mystery idea above. ^

It looks like some aux. sensor. i.e. tilt or motion sensor. https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...tall-ct9a.html this should help out on the install. hope this helps
