Sub Box Carpeting?

First off this is not for the evo. The box is a plain old square box that was previously carpeted, i got mad at the way it looked (old and corners ripped up). Now im going to redo it the only problem I have is I dont know what to use. I went to joanne fabric local to me and got some charcol colored felt but idk if it will do the job because its kind of stretchy and doesnt have a solid backing. What are you guys using to carpet a box? I planned on using 3M Super 90 adhesive, thoughts?

Most box carpet is stretchy with minimal backing so what you have should work out fine. And super 90 will work great as well just make sure you let the glue get tacky before putting the carpet on the box. Good luck.

FWIW, you can get good quality box carpeting at Walmart.

depending on what you want to spend, you can get car audio box carpet online. On the cheap side, (what I have done multiple times for people) is go to walmart or autozone and pick up a roll of replacement trunk carpet for about $8. That will easily cover up to a 20x20 box.
