I told you this on the last page. It must be my turn to SMFH.
Ummm...YES!
Well, I could listen and adjust (if you actually understand what's involved), but I'm willing to bet that you couldn't. Not easily. I'm not trying to insult you; you just don't know anything about this and aural acuity doesn't arrive overnight.
Is there an audible difference?
Couldnt you just listen and adjust?

I'll give you one piece of friendly advice, mostly for the benefit of others: Before you leave the shop, make sure the front mids are wired in phase. IME, at least 50% (minimum) of the shop installs I've heard have the drivers wired out of phase. Please understand that a typical car audio installer knows as little about audio as the typical forum participant. Best of luck.

For the benefit of the forum, play a familiar recording where you know something is dead-center in the soundstage (vocals, for example). If the drivers are in phase, the sound will remain dead-center. If they're out of phase, what you expect to hear dead-center will be localized in the speaker locations. The bass, too, will be audibly effected. Out of phase, lack of bass compared to in phase. You can train your ears to some degree by reversing the speaker leads on one of the (stereo, ie 2-channel) speakers in your home system and noting the effect. The best way to do this in a car is to listen to just the drivers in question, all others off.

sounds like the amp turn on wire is wrong, make sure your not using the "blue" wire from the head unit. use the blue/white
factory amp turn on wire should be yellow/white
factory amp turn on wire should be yellow/white

lol. the amount of fail in this thread is astounding.
FJF is right. popping speakers wont do **** for you but tell you the location. if you have them wired out of phase (i.e. pos and neg backwards of another pair) your midbass is GONE.
please take the car to someone who knows what they are doing.
when i installed stereos we had a tool that gave a full wiring diagram of the car by wire color. told which wire was pos and which was neg for each speaker.
i wouldnt ever never ever use the power and ground that the factory amp uses though. not enough current through the tiny *** wiring. run new ground, power and get some nice RCA's.
good luck

using a 9v to check speaker wires will do more then there location if u can see the speaker. i do this all the time. u can find (+) and (-) by seeing which way the speaker moves.
