i have a pioneer avic z-2, its an in dash navigation unit, and its completely awesome there are so many outputs for it like to plug in video sources and stuff that it takes a while to rearrange the wires behind it so it fits in right. as long as your somewhat organized, anything within reason will fit with the right kit and look good. in my opinion, units with a screen look better than normal aftermarket decks

All head units will be either single or double DIN in size so they'll fit the same.

sorry, that's not what i meant

i mean which head units dont stick out of the trim panel...the cheap double din i have , sticks out about 3/4 of an inch...i want the face of the radio to be flush with the radio trim panel.. thats the way this unit is engineered...it also comes with a small trim plate that you put on after installation, to hide gaps between the head, and the facory panel...it just sticks out too far, i want a more flush, factory look. thanks

that depends on the install kit you get, on mine, the trim piece that you put on last, kinda fades outward a little bit but makes it match. IMO i would say navi units or units with a screen would most likely be the ones that wouldnt stick out as much since you cant take the screen off like you can with other normal decks, if that makes any sense.
