Radio question on a 2005 evo
Hello there I just bought a 2005 evo 8 ..I beleive it has the SSL package cause it has a sunroof black leather and under the drivers seat should be an amp but there isn't one and no radio ..Can i put in a radio from a 03-04 -05 evo non SSL package or I have to fine a SSL package radio with the stock amp..thx

On the SSL, the wiring from the speakers goes under the driver's seat, not the dash, so you would have to figure something else out with that. The radio harness is the same between both radios, so it will turn on, but that's it.

Hey thanks but I dont think it's going to help ..I think I need the
METRA 70-7002 DODGE/MITSUBISHI 1992-2005 AMP BYPASS WIRING HARNESS..link below
I think this harness will plug in the harness under the drivers seat and the wires go where the radio is located so you can run a after market radio ..Seems like a pita to go after market on the SSL evo
