I drove my 90 Talon AWD without a cat for 3 years in NJ with no problems, my brother has had his catless for 5 years. I put my cat back on to go to NJ state inspection and WOW the car felt like a dog when I put the cat back on.
If you live in a state where the cops will actually harrass you for it just go with a hi-flow. Otherwise DEFINITELY go catless... provides minimum of 10HP and most likely more with the more mods you have, especially if you get a bigger turbo and run more boost!

i live in NY, I don't haven't had to many probs with police until recently when i was pulled over for having a "modified muffler" LOL when my car was stock! I told the cop off and he let me go. Either way aside from looking under the car is there really a way for a cop to rell ?
