just put in twin disk Exedy
Just had RRE put in my twin plate exedy after I shattered the throwout bearing with the stock clutch.
pedal is a little heavier not much
it does chatter A LOT when you push the pedal down
I am still breaking it in but the inital grab is by far supperior than the stock clutch and it seemed to have smoothened out the shifting and is a lot more predictable.
Have a few more hundred miles to go before I can really push.

Most race clutches look super thin due to the friction material being MUCH harder than standard street clutches, and able to take alot more heat. The clutch doesn't wear as fast, so there is less of it, and it doesn't need to disipate heat with the use of more material. Also less weight to spin.

Quick question about this clutch....Lancer shop has this clutch release rod that is supposed to extend something becuase without it a some people have had issues with the double and triple plate clutches. For school I have been studying Man trans for the past couple weeks and I can't figure it out. Bascially I am thinking since its called a release rod it does something to the shift fork/release bearing assembly to allow it to slide further into the pressure plate allowing the clutch to completely disenage.... its driving me somewhat nuts so I don't care if its a BS marketing thing I just want to know what it does lol.....Thanks for anyhelp

I've got 2500 miles on mine....noise is still there...but it does come with the little disclaimer in the box...
However...this is an entirely different car with this clutch. I have a bone stock car with a base Dynoflash and will take on any stock STi now. No problem...

I watched it get done (buddies performance shop). It's pretty indepth. After watching it get done, I have no doubt I could do it myself in about the same amount of time (6-7 hours at most).

The lancer shop clutch rod is kick ***. I installed it today on my Evo with stock clutch and it really made a difference in the engagement. This is something Mitsu really ought to have done from the get-go. Its a very noticeable improvement. I wish I would have bought this back in May. Also seems to have helped out with the 1st to 2nd grinding issue.
