rough idle buschr stg4 br 440

I have buschur stg4 with the BR 440 kit. Exedy twin plate

Car idles like crap. I think it is either the BOV that buschur supplies with the UICP or the cone filter from buschur. Does anybody have any experience with replacing either one of these and getting a better idle? Any help would be great.

THnx
Danny

Do you have an afc or flash on the car? this would probably help someone answer your question.

Also wanted to add that it isnt just a rough idle due to the cams and what not. The rpms will drop every time at idle and go back up and keep on doing that until I take off. It goes down to usually 400 but sometimes almost dies.

Im thinking its a vacuum or fuel issue. The vacuum is easy to check but the fuel issue is tuning related.

I hope it's not weather related. It was chilly this morning and my car idle rough and for the first time stalled.

BR4 setup with custom dynoflash.

Call Vishnu and ask them. In my opinion, the culprit is the intake.

Is your car searching for idle
Sounds like intercooler piping leak.Redo all your pipes with tbar clamps.I had the same problem until i re did the pipes.

3deep. I am one step ahead of you. I just ordered some tbar clmaps yesterday and they should be here in a couple of days. Hopefully that will fix it as a couple of the cheezy gear clamps get loose every week.

most likely it is the intake, but I will experiment with it and the stock box, if I still have it lying around

Yes check any hoses coming off the throttle body/intake manifold. If its leaking it will definitely go up and down non stop. Just to be sure if you stay in 1st gear and let the car slow down at the point were the rpms start making some power, the car will begin to reaccelerate. What a pain in the ars. 1st time it happened to me I was like WTF?!?

Also if you are running BR stage 4, you are making considerable more power. Very easy to blow a vaccum hose. Or might want to find out if they plugged a useless nipple after any mods. they may have popped off as well.

no vacum hoses are loose.

It is most likely the intercooler clamps and the intake.

good to knowother people have hose clamping issues.
