1G head

can the head from a 1G 4g63 be used on the evo? i ran into one and was gonna pick it up, but wasn't sure if it would work. thanx jason

It faces the wrong direction... So... I'm fairly sure it won't work.

The footprint for the headgasket and deck surfaces is VERY different. They have added a bunch of cooling passages between the head and block.
