P0300 vs. Reflashes

I obviously have a P2 flash. I also have the P0300 code gnawing at my a$$. I'd like to know the definitive answer and I want to hear what the ECU flashers themselves say.

A number, if not all, say their product now has the "reflash" code Mitsu's purporting to correct this problem.

WHAT DOES IT CORRECT?

If we go to our reflash vendor with their reflash with "the fix" repair the problem?

I don't want discussion or opinion in this thread. I want to hear from reflash vendors themselves or appointed spokespersons.

Vendors: can your "fixed" flash FIX our P0300 codes???

I was just down at WORKS the other day getting the P2 flash done to my car. I haven't had a problem w/ the P0300 code on my car. They told me that if the problem did arise, I should bring my car into the dealer and have them overwrite the P2 flash w/ the P0300 fix flash. Then bring my car back to WORKS and they'll load their P2 flash that incorporates the P0300 flash fix.

Just saw this

Good thing you brought it up as there have been some recent changes on this at Dyno Flash

ON 2003 EVOS ONLY !!!!!!!!!!!

Most people who get the Dyno Flash do not have 0300 code issues and originally we thought we had eliminated the problem through revised tuning. However, there are some cars which have a seriosu 0300 code issue which Dyno Flash was unable to eliminate in the past.

This is the procedure - those who have 0300 code issue

Go to dealer ask then for free o300 code reflash update

Then send in ecu to Dyno Flash for a revised Dyno Flash which works on top of the new 0300 code base program

Customer pays a $50 adminsirative and shipping fee which includes Fed Ex overnight return shipping

This DOES NOT eliminate the 0300 codes from comming but it does help them on many cars.

If anyone has any questions - please call

BTW - this does not apply to 04 and 05 cars
