hi i'm a new owner of an evo and i was looking for some advice on making it slightly faster, lol. for now i'm just gonna do a catback and intake but when i get some cash collected i want to make it a 10sec street car. so i figure its gonna take somewhere around 500whp to get there. i've been reading on here a little so i think i have an idea of what i need to get that much hp(full exhaust,intake,turbo upgrade,wastegate,bov,injectors,pump,intercooler,e cu flash/piggyback/aem,headstuds,headgasket,clutch i think thats it, did i forget anything?) so i think i know what it takes but now which products and brands should i get. thanks.

u wont be able to drive a 10 sec car on the street, i mean u can but its not gonna be fun at all.

it will be fine to drive...i drive mine all the time and (granted i have only gone 11.5 at 122 so far) but give me a little more time....and its totally driveable...and btw you will need 550ish whp to do 10s

I drive a 500+ whp car on the road all the time and does it nicely. What you get depends on what you want to do with the car. Someone did hit a 10.6 on 500whp.

AMS has a 10 sec. street evo www.automotosports.com

Al, in the Dynoflash forum also has a 10 sec. daily driven Evo.

Check both tuners mods and see what suits you the best.
I beleive both are running the same turbo , intercooler ( ams ), and AEM EMS for stand alone

These are proven parts they're using so I would'nt mess with success.

Word: As soon as I get my car back together with the new turbo I will break into the 10's. I am currently running mid 11's at 126mph and drive the car everyday. Oh and did I mention I still get 28mpg on the highway even with the 1000cc injectors.

Please take note that a lot of these "daily driven" 10 sec cars are constantly worked on, monitored, and tweaked. I would advise you to have a backup car if you plan on modding heavily.

ok i'm kinda chaging my idea, maybe i'll try for like a mid 11sec car or so. so i was thinking about going with the atp gt3071r turbo kit, is this a good kit or should i do something else. and the kit doesn't come with a new bov, should i get better on than stock, which one should i get. so what else to i need to get, what size injectors, fuel pump? where can i get a tune, can i send out my ecu to get it tuned or am i gonna have to take the whole car to the tuner. if i don't get it flashed what other ecu upgrade should i do, aem is kinda expensive. will i beable to get 400whp on pump with that turbo and setup?

get either custom turbo kit, rnr, ams or something like that for a turbo kit...not atp just my .02

ok if i go rnr which turbo, gt30r, 50 trim t3/t4 or the 60-1. how does each one of these turbos spool with an equal lenth manifold. on the rnr website they only go to 24psi, if i put headstuds and a better head gasket what can i boost to.

i have a gt30r and its spools by 4000 to 24psi....it holds 27 (thats all i have pushed so far ) to redline ....just do the headstuds only...no headgasket. You will get over 480whp with supporting mods

so it sounds like you have the setup i'm looking for. can you tell me your setup and how it drives on the street. whats your best 1/4 with what tune.

look at how much stock stuff i have...its impressive for my 11.51 at 121.98 mph times...and it will be better soon.

I did 11.3 @ 125 in my E7 and it is a daily driven fully streetable car.
No problems at all....If any, they are minor
