Thumbs up Just installed Greddy FMIC

All I can say is wow, I got this intercooler installed over the weekend and the spool up time is so much faster. It hits full boost so violently now and I hit full boost 21psi @ 2700 rpm. I was hitting this at a little over 3000 rpm before. The sound of the turbo is amazing as well sound like a big sinlgle turbo now

I was under the impression that I was going to get more lag due to the larger unit but thats not the case.......also I gained 2psi of boost after installing it and had to lower the boost. So the pressure drop is alot better with the unit as well. I got it from www.AMStuning.com for $750. It includes the intercooler and the lower pipes. The only pipe that is not replaced is the one from the Throttle body to the first rubber elbow. However greddy has also released this pipe as well and will be picking it up.

Very satisfied with the product

If you are upgrading the turbo I think the AMS would be better but the unit is alot more then the greddy if you include the pipes

Is this the V spec or R spec greddy?

When you say you hit full boost by 2700, what gear are you in and at what rpm did you floor it at?

I love the cast end tanks of the greddy intercooler. The transitions are much smoother compared to the stock end tanks. That spool up sounds sweet.

RRE has pics of an install on their website:
