Im just curious why anyone would go and buy an upgraded turbo kit without buying the supporting mods first, I probably read something wrong...

 

No, you read right. It does seem a bit like putting the cart before the horse, however, it's useful from the standpoint that it illustrates the capabilities/limitations of the factory hardware. His car did have a few mild mods as per my recollection.

 

HOLD ON.... i started this thread to get feed back for for peeps to fight.. only few ?'s of mine have been answered . i bought the kit i will give my impression when it's installed.. i have all the supporting mods less cams which i dont want im trying to make this car daily driven with out internal work just bolt on's..

ok sorry i started the hating guys... it's just i saw this happen (illogical comparisons and progression of thought) in the last 340958304958 page thread that was talkin' about the 3071.

evolife... sorry for jackin' yer thread... i hope this doesn't discourage you from sharing good comparible info with us, cuz it would benefit the entire community and put this "issue" to rest for good. i hope just as much as you do that there will be no dissapointments. btw... what trim did you get?

 

it's cool... i just got my kit last night looks sweet ... as far as impressions if i put the kit on and it sucks then ill says it does... i like this site seems cool but what i have noticed is that we seems to bash each other alot.. i feel there are people who dont't know as much as other and seems to frustrate other.. what have to remeber is that we are in the same persuit ****POWER****

OH..ok well ill let you guys know right now im running stock injector on low boost untill i can tune it right the people at AEM are helping my tune it so should be nice..

 

just get the 660 injectors or the 750 and you should be set, add fuel pump to that of course.

 

im going to buy injector 750 and fuel pump i just dont want the stock ecu to run them... thats why im going to run low boost until i can have some time to tune.
my buddy has a srt4 with the same turbo and loves it.

ATP 3071 W/ .63 A/R
750cc injectors
No software tuning
SAFC
Profec B 2 Boost Controller
3" exhaust no cat.
110 Octane ERC racegas 28 psi
Custom made intake with K&N cone filter.

That is all I have. NOTHING else.

A/F ratio was 12.8 ~13 : 1

This is on a Dynojet AWD. with SAE correction
