Yup. Baseline, dyno, dyno-tune, post all of the above. When I first started looking into this (two weeks ago) I couldn't find anyone with these specific mods who had done all these exact same mods on a new car.

I figured that posting my baseline, then doing this upgrade grouping and reposting would help out those folks who are new to the car and it's mod path like myself. I've sifted through a lot of the archives finding a lot of helpful but more often than not useless information. In most cases, the baseline included a couple goodies already such as an intake, MBC, etc.

If, Ted, you don't see any merit to my post then you're more than welcome to disregard it.

I certainly see the merit in it.

I have a true, bone stock baseline of my own car, followed by its subsequent dyno tuned Stg 1+ with 10.5t configuration, done all in one shot and all graphed onto the same chart. I'll post it tomorrow.

I can't wait. It would be even better if we were both using the same dyno....and octane of fuel (I'm stuck with 92 here in WA) It will be really interesting to see the difference between just the 10.5 housing and the TI shaft and 10.5 housing as I understand you only have the housing correct?

The actual dyno numbers shouldn't matter because the percentage difference should be about the same. The chart I'll post reflects 93 oct.

Actually, I have the entire 10.5t unit, which includes the larger housing *and* the Ti internals.

Ted if you did the before and after dyno then can you either post the results or link to the thread that has the results?

Most of what you said is correct, but not totally. The HRA15GK2 is only available on the TME GSR, but the HRA16G6 was on the TME 6.5 RS (and every other 6.5 RS). The TME GSR one is a smaller 15G unit, and thus has less output to the RS unit. All that to say, the 15GK2 is not the "true" 6.5 TME turbo, just the "true TME 6.5 GSR" turbo. If the 15GK2 really costs $2000, than it is a total ripoff. The only thing even remotely more special about it is that it is more rare. In the real world where power matters, a TME RS will show a TME GSR taillights with ease. Granted, some of that is due to the weight difference.

I have the TD05HRA16G6-10.5T on my car, and I _love_ it. Together with a SSa/DNP style header, it made about 1.5 times the power of my 264/264 cams throughout the powerband. Just putting it on made a 20+whp gain everywhere, meaning a really nice amount of midrange torque!

Thanks for pointing that out, actually there's alot of bad information out there about the TME's and the turbos used for different models.. My turbo is the TD05HRA-16G6-9.8t, but I upgraded the compressor cover with an MR cover, and the hot side housing with a 10.5t.. I'm really looking forward to finally running it. And the TME turbos are very expensive, but the one I recall being $2000 was indeed the smaller of the two turbos.. at the time I was researching it I wasn't aware of the difference between the two though.

Well Ted, you and I dynoed about the same. We can throw out the forum myth that (your) injectors or (my) intercooler made any appreciable gains.

Here's my stock sheets. No engine mods at all, only AM parts are turbo timer and shift light.
