What gearbox is this? Any info on it?
Hi!
I´ve bought myself an EVO I gearbox (I think) to fit to my Colt C5A5 GTi 1.8 -93.
I´m trying to find out exactly what kind of box it is, where it´s from and any info there is on the box. I´m hoping you´ll help me out
The number on top of it is: W5M33-2-WQFE / QJ8210

Transmission type is W5M33 (KM225) for the Evo 1 and W5M33-2-UPYE for the Evo 2 and Evo 3

I think the gearbox I have is from an EVO I. But I just can´t find anything that verifies this.
I´ve found the mitsubishi manual in pdf for the F5M2x / W53x which helped a lot for the technical info - but I don´t know which gear-ratios etc it is for the box I have since that "modelcode" doesn´t seem to exist anywhere.
W5M33-2-WQFE it says. Most of them seems to be W5M33-2-Nxxx .
Is the code different for the EVO I RS, maybe it´s from one of those.
Not that it matters really but it could be fun to know the speedometer gearing and various other things for sure
