Anyone using a GT28RS yet??

I'm pretty new to Evo's, and i'm wondering if any company offered a GT28RS turbo upgrade yet. I'm in the market for street/track turbo upgrade and the ATP 3031 and BR440 caught my eye. I'm asking about the GT28RS because a few of the honda guys i know had dynoed a GT3031 against the GT28RS and got shocking results. Check out the dyno charts

Stock block GSR @ 11psi on both turbos
28RS: solid lines
3071: dotted lines

Built B16 and EMS @ 20psi on both turbos
the gt28rs+/lovefab setup made 371hp/286tq
the inline pro/gt3071r setup made 353hp/255tq
the lower line is 8psi on the gt3071r

The stock turbo is capable of similar numbers and for $285 you can add the larger housing. I don't know why you would want a aftermarket turbo unless you want to make 450whp+, it's just not worth the effort and money

You mean Garrett came out with the 2835, and HKS put a sticker on it and now charges $500 extra.

HKS has had the 2835 series turbo for a while. some supras have used them for twins, a few 300zx's have done it as well. they may have just introduced a kit for the evo, but that turbo has been around for quite some time.

Those dyno sheets are of Hondas not Evos.
