Ralliart panel filter question

I just purchased and installed a Ralliart panel filter. Is it just me because I feel like I just lost 5-10 hp and the car does not feel as smooth. I then installed a new OEM paper element and the car quickly felt back to normal. Is the engine mgnt system not liking the panel filter? Any info appreciated-

MAF meter is reading more air coming in from the Raliart filter. So it enrichens the fuel mixture, therefore the power loss.

It is said time and time again......Don't change your airfilter if your not tuned for it. You'll just end up losing power for the most part.
