Talking Please, help for turbo choice...

First of all hi to everybody, and excuse me in advance for my bad english, i'm really doing my best, i'm italian.... I've been following your discussions for a long time, but i still have a lot of confusion, so i'm going to pose you a question about turbo choice.
I have a VI TME with group A balanced crank, Arrow titanium rods, Cosworth forged pistons, upsized +1 mm valves, HKS 272° cams and pulleys, Cusco flywheel, removed balance shafts, Walbro fuel pump, Perrin fuel rail with 720 cc Denso injectors, Walbro-TDD programmable ECU and Apexi AVC-R boost controller.
I would like, as target, a power of approx 400/420 WHP, without too high boost, 20/24 psi could be ok for me ( in Europe we have 95 octane unleaded fuel ), so i have to change my turbo and manifold.
Reading your posts ( for you Evo is new, but with 4G63 tuning you are 100 years in the future, if compared to us in Europe...) i have realized, if i'm not wrong, that i should need a 3037 or 3540 or similar setup.
Considering that my principal use of the car is street with some track days, what could be the best choice for me, without having too much lag, and last thing, which manifold i have to purchase, good for performances but not to easy to crack?
Thnak you very much in advance, and excuse me again for my english, hope i have not done too bad......

Your english is quite good! Hell, I'd say you type better than 25% of the guys on this board.

We have been doing ALOT of overseas sales lately, so we are very used to handling overseas payments, currency exchange, and overseas shipping. We've had very large orders lately go to England, Panama, Bahrain, Poland, and Greece. Seems our turbo kits are getting worldwide attention so to speak.

Our turbo kits are exceptional in performance, design, and build quality, as is our customer service. Please, give us a call and we can discuss your goals and which kit would be best to suit you. The shop number is 847-709-0530, our hours are Mon-Fri 10am-7pm Central. Our email address is sales@automotosports.com and the website is http://www.amstuned.com

Thanks,
Eric Jones

Hey giangi.
Even if we have some nice fuel in europe (V-Power and stuff) keep in mind that our cars have
to effort higher long-term reliability.
We have 130km/h + highways and not as many speed limits as in the states.
All the cars we have tuned so far are tuned for us-91 oct. fuel just to add a little bit of
safety for 20-30min or even longer full throttle highway rides with 250+ km/h.
Our 100oct fuel equals us-93/94 oct. The formula is roz+moz:2
You know that I am sure.
My buddy has a slightly used 3071r for sale this winter. He's running it on a TME VI also.
He makes approx. 390whp at 1,8 Bar.
Greetings from Germany ;-)

Dont go HKS, its over priced and the manifold will crack. I went with ATP and I am pretty happy. PM for questions (full boost around 3700~3800)RPM

HKS quality is outstanding. I don't know any manifold that cracked so far.
i.e. I haven't seen any yet and I can't imagine that HKS didn't test seriously.
"overpriced" - maybe
the very best parts - sure

make your choice

AMS over ATP every day (question of money)

Every HKS kit had a cracked manifold ask any tuner. Ask AL ask GTmotorsports. They just crack and we don’t know why. With HKS you just get the turbo manifold and not even a complete DP. The kit is not complete and not worth it. What’s out here in the USA is way better and way more reliable.

Sad story.
I have seen HKS kits for Supra, S14 and RX-7 and they were all great.
Does HKS Kansai use the same manifolds?

Not sure, but do some search and you will find many threads of people having their HKS cracked.
