Bushur or Helix TBE?
#136
I just read this thread today for the first time and I really wish I had the extra money to spend for an exhaust right now because the deal from Buschur is really good. When I do buy one, I'll have to see if I can still get the deal.

Boost gauges are a variety of Autometer, pod is a simple round holder that goes on top of the steering wheel.
The downpipes do not rattle or burn the rear fascia.

Buschur exhausthands down. I bought the Helix and what a mistake that was. Rattling from hell under my crossmember. i must have took it apart like 10x and beat the hell out of it with my sledgehammer. That didn't work so i took the damn downpipe down and measured it was 1 inch shorter than my sotck one, so i took it to a local welder and he welded a 1" piece to it and it helped with most of the rattles. This was an inconvenience to me and alot of my valuable time was psent making this systme fit.
My friend has a Buschur turboback that i installed and first try we had NO rattling. So i vote for the Buschur turboback hands down.

Excellent. I'm really eyeballin' this one because for the cost it just seems to good to be true. So the flashing program was designed by yourself and AL? Slapping this kit on an '05 and with some minor MBC tweaking I'll see over 300whp? It just seems too easy for it to be smooth...
I'm sure soon down the road I'll be following suit with some of the stage (probably actually call you for advice on your products) but cams/fuel pump & a dyno tune wouldn't be too far fetched. I definitely can see the advantage of actually getting tuned while on the dyno instead of via mail..

TBE $750 shipped
Just wondering if the $750 deal is still on? It's been a few days/weeks since your last post so just wondering. I wanted the TBE with cat delete and BR muff, I'm leaning toward the Buschur but I want to hear it first, I'll search. I also may want a flash. Late.

Yes, it is still on. Have to stay in the thick of things on pricing if I can. Especially exhaust. I want every EVO on the road to have our exhaust on it
Just mention EVOM when you call and the sale, we'll honor it.

Has anyone measure the weight of Helix vs Buschur's (just dp & catback).
And please use shipping scales...
Also, is there a different Helix or Buschur DP for 05 Evos with ACD?

Yes I did. I just looked through my notes as I thought I had kept them. Somewhere on these forums I posted the weight differences. Might take some searching to find it. We only weighed the downpipes. They are substantially heavier than ours.
