I never heard mine during normal driving. After I drove from here to WPB about 60 miles for a road tune that ***** got LOUD!!! I mean after the car was fully hot as hell it was soo loud just like I remember in my DSM. I have noticed that heat and amount of fuel play a big role in the noise they make. I though it was quieter on the evo... I was wrong! It's not bad everyday driving but with 1/4 of a tank of gas and hard driving for 2 hours and a drive 1 hour to and 1 hour from a tune it tends to get seriously loud.
Just drove it after it sat for 4 hours and there is no sound now. That is the culprit.

I've had my walbro in for about 6months, and it was never that loud. Get in the car this morning start the car and hear the whine (full tank of gas). Drove home from work, still whining. I'm getting ready to take it back out and see if anything is stuck in it. This is loud enough that you can hear it if you're standing outside the car, and it's REALLY loud inside. Is everyone else's that loud? I'm thinking of putting the stock back in.
