many of the AMS evos are pushing 500 whp and still have the handling and braking of the evo. in fact there is one right now in Modified Mag, but i do believe it might have been on race gas... not sure.
But another problem with this comparison is which one of these cars is at the end of the day going home with a warranty.

Boost Solutions is also supposed to have a 702 whp Evo, on race gas of course, but put it on pump and it would still be over 500. This is a very attainable goal for an evo and isnt something new.

that doesnt say what type of gas they are using, but there are 31 people putting evos into the 11's or lower.

These cars really are in two totally different classes. I can't imagine any way to make an evo go as fast around a race track as a Carrera GT. Also, who says the Carrera GT is a $600,000 car? Last time I checked, it was $440,000.

Are you serious? Are you trying to compare a circle track car to a daily drivable evo? If so what are you comparing about them?

Off the line it shouldn't be exceptionally difficult (still hard to do, though) to beat a carerra GT to 60. Above that and you start running into serious aerodynamic issues with the evo. 0-60 in 3.5 sec...ok. 0-100 in 6.8...uh, maybe not.
