What is the difference between the BOVs and which works best with the EVO
I just recently purchase the ralliart induction kit and installed it. I am shopping for a bov that won't be a hassle to install. Any suggestions or advise? Sound clips?

I just put on the Turbo XS BOV and i LOVE it. I installed it along with a hks rs intake and I have 0 stalling problems and I love the sound of it. Nice loud whoosh sound at full boost. I am recirculating and it is very loud. Highly recommended.

I dont believe there is any hassel with any bov. They are all plug and play.
As far as sound clips. You have 2 choices to choose from:
pshhh / woosh sound
and nintendo gameboy sounds like Greddy.

Only issue I have with turbo XS is that they all are designed to leak. I dont want any precious boost leaking Its a cheap product.
If you dont believe me, take one apart and look for a seal of any kind, None

The question I was trying to ask is which non-atmospheric bov or atmospheric bov is compatible to the MAFS for the EVO?
With an atmospheric bov I need to purchase an EIDS to make the atmospheric bov compatible to the EVO, meaning I need to spend more money.
I do believe you get what you pay for in a product.
So any suggestions or advice? Sound Clips?

I can recommend anything that Forge makes too. I have their BOV on my SRT-4. With stage 2 I'm pushing about 17-19psi and you couldn't fit a grease bb up that things a$$. It's on there tight. It's well made. And the spring can be upgraded without removing the entire unit. I believe the Evo and SRT-4 have the same type of re-circulating surve valve so, even though we call it a valve, it's technically more of a blow off plate.

I do believe you wont have any problem with stock airbox. Its when you modify it ,that you'll start to see problems with certain blow off valves.
By design, i can tell you
Greddy and APS will not give you problems, as well as, turboxs and MR Bov. Probably even Blitz. Forge, i dont know and HKS, i do not know.
Also, vivid has the APS for 10 dollars cheaper than lancershop.
I'd tell you to go with APS and that's only because i have it.
APS is very well-rounded. Smooth and exact throttle response.
Mr on my Non Stock Airbox - felt rough.
Greddy - 5th gear flutter and stupid nintendo effects
Hk$ - if you like the movie aliens, this blowoff is for you.
Every other blowoff valve will have woosh/pssh.
APS probably being the quietiest of the bunch.
I would suggest the MR. It's a nice piece and works well with stock air filter.

MR D/V is the same design as the plastic one in the Evo
except the housing is metal and the spring is stiffer.
The only way you could hear it is if you're running
a intake system(after market).

www.blowoffvalves.com has some basic sound clips.
But for a basic description of the sounds here goes:
Greddy - Sadly it does sound like a sound from a Nintendo game.
Blitz - Has a Whoosh sound but extends pretty long.
HKS - Imagine a hawk screaming! that high pitched kind of scream that hurts your ears. Yea, thats it.
Turbo XS RFL - probably the loudest one, no real definition to it. Just sounds like a really loud sneeze.
and most others sound like a sound from a movie when they are venting out an air-lock. "whoosh" or "Tssssssshhhhhh"
Greddy has also made a new type RS blow off valve which is supposed to sounds similar to the type S but with a twist, havent heard it yet though.
