Weapon*R engine damper fix

I've been getting a few messages from people that the engine damper is too long. I looked into this and noticed a difference between our intial shipment, and the ones we just received recently. It seems that the dampers we're not tightened down all the way, causing them to be up to 1.2" longer in some cases. I wanted to post this up to see if this is indeed the only issue we are having, as that is all we have seen so far.

On the left is what it should look like tightened correctly. On the right is how we have been receiving them from the factory. The total length from the center of the bolt hole on each end of the damper should be 11 3/6" exactly.
Here's a pic of what I'm talking about:

When I bought my damper, I was pretty annoyed that the whole assembly was only finger tight.

Anyone who buys this product should check to make sure everything is properly assembled before installing.

That's my only grip about this product.

Yeah, we're really sorry about the assembly on these, we've contacted the factory multiple times on things like this, and they're still giving us issues. Maybe it's time to drop the axe, lolz. But no worries, we're checking all our shipments upon arrival now, so there shouldn't be anymore such problems.

The quality of the materials used to build this part are pretty good, no problems there. They just have to assemble these dampers better at the factory.

At first I thought someone had opened the packaging to see how it worked, but now after reading about all these complaints, maybe you (weaponr_ray) should point the factory to these threads...

It's not a bad product, once you assemble it properly. I am quite happy with it correctly assembled and installed.

Well I've been cracking the whip on the factory lately, so things should be changing asap.

The engine damper reduces engine movement and wheel hop among other things. Please do a search under "engine damper" for tons more information.

I didn't mean the quality of the piece

I meant the Quality Control Department (This is a position in a job, that people have to check the products before they go out)

Is this piece really a dampener or a brace?
