When you get it, if you don't mind please post a pic of the recirc/outlet adapter... does it replace the blue part or somehow fit around/over it? And I'm looking forward to hearing your sound (or video) clips once you start recirculating.... If you can record going for a drive, that might be better too since it's probably a lot louder under load than in neutral...

Is there anyway to run a BOV VTA that wont make the car stall? I am still all stock besides my tint, my dealer said a BOV VTA would not void my warrenty.

The only way I know would be to run a stand alone EM system. It has to do w/ your maf sensor, and when it sees air, it sends fuel, but then the air is vented to the atm, and causes a rich condition.

I've got the worx tuning bov. It is completely adjustable from 100% vta, 75/25, 50/50, 25/75, and 0%. If you want the sound, but not the loss of drivability, then you need to at least go w/ a 50/50 bov so that some air is put back into the intake tract.

NOTE :

Greddy does not have the recirc adapters available for the RS yet. They won't have them until sometime in January. Just an FYI.

The sound is different because you are running VTA, I bet once you get the recirc kit in, it will sound much like the the Type S when running recirculated

I ordered it from Evostore.com, but no one will have this part since Greddy will not have the recirc kits available until sometime in Jan. They do not know an exact date.

edit: Diff between the size of the tube? Not sure what you mean exactly. I ordered the 29mm outlet adapter (recirc adapter). The tube where the stk bov fits into at the intake hose is 27mm. The 29mm recirc adapter is the size nearest the stk tube. Hope I made sense.

As for the sound. I may not know for sure, but it should not make a difference if the valve is recirculting or not, the sound should remain the same. The Type S sounds the same whether vta or recirculating. Therefore I feel this bov will have the same sound if recirculted.

You could try running the bov VTA with HKS EIDS. That helps control the air-flow and whatnot and helps you from stalling.

I heard about the HKS EIDS, does that really work? Anyone running it? Any stalling issues while VTA? I'm really interested in purchasing that module and would like to know more info and experiences that you guyz had with HKS EIDS..
