I have a Blitz sbc-id3 boost controller and I'm not really sure how to optimize the gain setting. Right now the boost comes up fast ((I have it in manual mode at 58 and gain is in the upper 20s), but then it gets a little unstable (boost needle wavers a little bit, like between 19 and 20 psi) before smoothing out and holding for the rest of the pull. The wavering is worse at 20 psi than 19 psi and is virtually non-existent at 15-16 psi.

What does having the gain too high do?

Any advice?

hey i just installed the Blitz BC in my my car...any advice on how to use it?

i run 58 set and 15 gain for 21 psi.

honestly not really. You want just enough gain so that you get a little spike and then it holds steady at the psi you want. Most stock fast spooling turbos are recomended for gains between 5-15. higher gains are used for bigger slower spooling turbos.
