I have the same problem On my 05 MR, going to about 14 psi .9bar and tapering to .7bar think is about 11psi, Im suppose to have my friend check for boost leak sometime next week. The stock boost gauge from mitsu is tapped into the fuel pressure sellenoid on my car Im curious wth is going on with my new car as well....

the guage reads just about - 18-20 at idle, i think i may have figured out the problem, i think when the person took out the boost controller they just replaced the vacum lines with regular ones, not the ones from the factory with the little nipple in it. i ordered a new set of lines from mitsu today so i will know tomnorrow if that is what it was, i will keep u guys updated.

What does it says at idle? Did you try to tighten the bov?

thats exactly what i was going to tell you to replace! as soon as you replace those vacuum you will get your boost back if i were a betting man i would put money on it.

its probably the small hose that is connected to the turbo outlet. thats the only one i know that has a nipple in it. theres probably more , but from what i read thats the main one that has caused people problems / or the low boost

When you get to high boost of like about 19 psi, are you in 5th gear? or can you hit 19 psi on 3rd at 7k rpm? Never had a boost gauge so im kinda confused.

I believe you can hit 19psi in 3rd gear, I hit 20psi in 3rd gear. You should get a boost gauge.

I have a boost gauge. I've tried it & im just about .8 bar max on 3rd. But im only around 6k rpm. After 6 k theres just not much pull on it, so i guess this cant add more boost can it?
Also if you got a manual boost controller how can you set it up to like 21 psi? I have no clue!
