HKS Type1 TT or Greddy TT?
Ive already heard the "TTs are a waste of money" stories before, but thats an opinion not a fact so no need for any of those comments....
To the point...
Which is better overall? The HKS type 1 only looks better to me. I've heard good things about the Greddy and HKS. But got some questions of my own.
Which 1turns off all accessories? The radio, AC, stuff like that
Does any of em make weird noises when theyre activated or the car's turned on? Is it annoying?
Which 1 is made better?
Which 1 has less reported problems?
ANy positive notes about each item would be great.

i have the HKS Type 01...
it's reads rpm (with shift indicator), speedo, 0-60, and quite a bit more...
don't know how true the readings are....pretty easy to install...and it shuts off everything except the headlamps...(i don't have sun and sound)....just needs a bit calibration to match your ecu pulse for rpm and speedo...
timer can be set at :30 second intervals....
when i remove the key....it beeps and blue turns red....and is hella bright....
I heard good things about the Greddy as well...i opted for the HKS cuz it's black and blends nicely.....
it lights up bright blue...which can be quite annoying....honestly..haven't used any of the other functions other than shift indicator and speedo....
could've saved money by goin with the Type 0...alot simpler and does it's job....but oh well..it's in and done.....
hope this helps...

I have the HKS type 1 and it works great. It even has the 1/4 mile time and 0-60 and all of that including a stop watch and volt meter. A friend of mine has the greddy and it sometimes acts up not wanting to turn the car off when it should. It could be just that unit but i would go with the HKS.

oh wow didnt knwo it had a shift indicator. Great function. Seems like the best bang for the buck. Any site that sells it for cheap w/ harness? Any feedback on the Greddy would be nice.
