I know how to make your type s vent to atmosphere without any stalling... if anyone is interested... It sonds very good, a huge whistle, and it is very loud.

(I got a ticket because the cop thought i spun my tires, when all i did was rev up and blow off if that tells u nething)

I am running mines on VTA too without stalling problems. I plan to convert it back to recirculating though... noise is getting a bit too much to take plus i felt like i got better response when i had it on recirculating

On the pictures I posted on the second page, you can see the smaller secondary nipple just to the right of the main one (to the right in this picture). It is on the same side of the piston as the main line (the intake side).

In the picture on the first page of this thread, the secondary nipple is on the "bolt-on" flange, on the other side of the piston from the main line (the IC pipe side). At least that is what my eyes are seeing.

What's up with that? Anyone else see this?

Does anyone know where to connect the secondary nipple (Vacuum?) to? i have mine not connected to anything and left it open to air. I think that connecting it would cure my fluttering problem.

mine's set as 2 springs, and about 5 turns after the contact point for the hardening and softening setting, i used to have it how you set up on the picture in the first posts, but it fluttered pretty hard, and my current setting is light flutters about 1 sec long.

u think that's fine? how does yours sound? High boost, it's no problem, no fluttering, but there's pretty long wistling sound at the end of the WOOSH. it holds boost no problem.

I must be lucky, I installed mine on Friday night and I havent had any issues at all. I got the RRE version, but I dont have the hose connected from the two tips. I will try it with that to see if its different.... I have mine turned about 2/3 turns.

got the single in there with screw turned about 2 to 3.
just dont get it? noticed more leak (chirping noise at idle and when driving) when screw is turned in more!
no matter what, I still have a leak!
I'm thinking about just going with MR BOV. EVO drives fine but I sure would love to eliminate the noise! I havent tried installing both springs yet! my last option before I go get MR BOV!!
