If you for some reason get a fin bent you have to buy a whole new cartridge or center section they call it and those go for $1000 by themselves. Gotta love it!

Chris,

With all the money you got, a grand for a CHRA is dropping a dime for you .

Getting a GT35R to spool on a 2.0 all comes down to header design, tuning and turbo specs.

With all of these in place we can get our kit to reach full boost by 4200-4400rpm.

Sorry guys for some reason im not getting the replys in my emails. Weird! Anyway ill try and answer what i can.

TampaTurbo:
Ya you can swap out any turbo you want for any setup. All that depends on is the housing you are going to be using. If you are planning on using the stock housing or manifold then you will need a turbo setup that can mat to that (ATP). If you plan using a T3 flanges manifold you will only be able to use a turbo with a T3 flange. Up to you in that aspect. I guess you could always swap both turbo and manifold together.

Well the real reason you gain so much more HP with raise gas is becouse you are able to run more timing more boost and a leaner fuel mixture with less knock. Yes allot of it is more Boost but i would say the combination of leaner mixture and more timing is just as important and will gain you just as much as the boost did.

Now my friend we have gone over this. I already have had to buy 2 GT35 which i was not very happy with. Then i find out they are making a GT37 DAMN IT now i want that one. Its like umm my turbo is bigger then yours aspect. JK JK i just love boost and always want more. You would think 35psi would be enough specially since it wraps the defi boost gauge all the way around but there is just somthing about that 40psi mark that really turns me on

Well its kind of hard to compare my spool times to what a stock block is going to spool. Lke i said i gained at least 1000rpms off full boost after i did all the engine work. I think allot of it had to do with the port and polish and pocket ports, maybe even the valves and switching the HKS cams to the Tomei. Dont know but before all this i was hitting 35psi at 5500rpms and i was hitting 20psi at 5000rpms. Now i hit 35 psi at 4500 and 20 psi at 4000rpms. Its kind of hard to tell becouse soon as the turbo kicks in it just sky rockets the tach i barly have enough time to shift. But i guess i could run some logs in the AEM and get exact numbers for you guys if it is wanted.

Anyway hope this helps. Im loving the car more and more every day. I could not ask for a better setup. There are times i wish i had a quick spooling (stock turbo) but for the most part it doesnt bother me becouse once the big one kicks in there is no feeling like it. Enough said

Chris
