How to make 260+ HP
#17
what does it matter how much horsepower you have on what kind of dyno. do a little research on the car and then mod it to where you like it. All a dyno is going to do i give you a peice of paper with a number on it. granted the air fuel ratio is nice to know but not until you get a little more extreme. You should be more conserned with how it drives and not what the highest number you can get is.
i have a utec, mbc, 255 fuel pump, turbo back exhaust, helix intercooler pipes, pe intake, 272i/264e cams, type s, and headstuds. i have never had the car dynoed but it sure pulls hard as hell.
jsut my 2 cents

O.K. you dyno'd 229 on a Mustang dyno, that's pretty close to what we made on the 2wd dynojet at 237. Won't argue over 8 whp, that's for sure.
Our Stage 0 kit which is $995 that same car made 289.3 whp and 279.6 whp. Still 50 state smog legal and quiet too.
