I am running the Type-S recirculated with the single spring mod and no secondary line. When there is a large change in pressure (3/4 or full throttle to closed) it is a smooth "pshooot" sound, if that makes any sense. It is higher pitched than the stock BOV. With a moderate change in pressure mine sometimes stutters with a fast "tchoo, tchoo, tchoo" sound and my car jerks. As very light pressure changes/throttle changes it has a quiet high pitched whistle. I know that I don't have the spring tension set up right, but I don't know if I should go lighter or stiffer. I am already a couple turns tighter than what was recommended here : http://www.evomoto.com/tech_info.php?tPath=1&tech_id=7

yeah, i had mine loosened with both springs in and the lower nipple hooked up to the turbo outlet pipe...never had any flutter or surge, released like stock, but you could over tighten the springs and it would surge, terrible...

what did he say about the type s that is so bad. i put mine in a few days ago and no probs, leaks, etc. type s sounds sweet, definately different from almost all others out now, plus it looks good. i bought the flange so its not super loud but with intake it is.
