I just noticed today my defi d psi gauge, bought 3 weeks ago, reads a little under 0, half between 0 and the next tick when car is off. I also noticed my mitsu gauge needle is under 0 as well. Im kinda pissed at myself for not noticing the mitsu gauge earlier. Anyways, when reading my defi d gauge, should I just go with where the needle is at, which is 21psi, or should I substract whatever number its at when the gauge is off? If I do that, then I assume my boost spikes to 20.* psi's.

The defi link and the evc read exactly the same on my car. The defi reads differently then the EMS but that is expected(differential and absolute pressure). Remember the Defi D and the Link are 2 different guages. Ive have heard of inaccuracies of the D series in the past.

Hmmm.. well this kinda sucks. I was planning to buy a D-Series boost gauge to match the EGT gauge I just got. If it has inaccuracies like that... I will just stick to the small mechanical HKS boost gauge I have. For the price difference... Autometer might be a better buy, at least some of their high end ones.
Definitely bump this up for more info.

Im running my xede stage 0+downpipe and Im not hitting 21psi with this gauge. It could be accurate but then again I have some doubts. Im going to tap my zt-2 wideband boost sensor to a different location and check the boost before making any changes to my xede map. I did send an email to defi, so I'll keep everyone posted if your having the same prob
