ACT HDSS clutch installed

I also highly recommend the ACT to everyone of my customers I like the stock like driveability and the price. I would also like to see an in between disc produced, more durable than the street disc but not as hardcore as the 6 puck. All in all I have to give you guys credit for selling a very good clutch for the Evo cars, thanks!!

Even something as simple as clutch life is not really a simple question if it is to be answered accurately. You have to specify if the clutch is going to be wearing because of frequent stop and go slips, drag starts, the restictor, too much power, too much heat, etc. One friction material I know of might last a long time, but won't hold power very well because of lower friction and it is slow to recover from overheating. What about the life of the center section? Are you using a lightened flywheel? Are you using a stock dampener? And so on, and so on. What might work great for one driver, might not for another.
It is much easier on a case by case basis to recommend the right balance of features even if I end up recommending a competitors product (which I hesitate doing publicly for some reason) when I can evaluate the importance of certain benefits and tradeoffs . On a public forum it is impossible to cover everything and easy to be misunderstood. I also risk sounding like I am just advertising on here which would be in poor taste. I don't want to sound like a politician either where there are lots of meaningless words, but I hope you get my meaning.

Just kidding! I'll be glad to help.
Zeus: I don't have my work email at home (keeps the wife happy) so when I get in Monday, I will follow up.

Daily driver, live in Texas Hill Country, mainly highway miles with some uphill small town traffic, making 346hp/343tq on FIS's Mustang Dyno. I am running a Fidanza flywheel and have put around 22k miles on your disc clutch but after my last tune it can't hold up any more. Had differing opinions on the ACT 6 puck option, one source said that it would take some getting used to but sounds more suited to what I need and would be fine for daily, other source said it would put too much shock on my tranny and things would break, also said that it would cause too much vibration from chatter and set off missfire codes... Dirk you'r advice would be greatly appreciated here.

edit: oh and my restrictor was removed about 1/2 way through the life of this clutch.

What is the recommended break in period? I know Noize mentioned 350 miles, is that enough?
