My car peaks at about 134-138 kpa 19.5 - 20psi usually. I will be going to an alcohol injection and I need to figure the control out.
I'm running the PSI version. Turning the knobs will turn the boost up. It's that simple. I'm pretty sure that is considered the gain or volume as you put it.

In order to get to the offset settings you need to press the MOD button til you see a -4- in the top left. Once you do that press and hold it again til a -7- comes up. That is your offsets to smooth out boost and make it hit full boost quicker.

The higher you put the offset the more response you will get out of the turbo but you will notice that your peak boost is lower. The lower you put the offset the more peak boost you will see with less response. I found when trying to hold 24psi a lower number works best. I believe mine is set around 70. This only holds try for internally gated turbos. For external wastegates it is just the opposite.

Man I notice a huge difference with my offset set in the 150 area in comparisson to 100, took my turbo forever to spool before. For my psi model I found that with the offset at 150 and the gain/boost volume set to 72 I get a solid 21.2 psi, pending that the a/c isn't on of course, if it is then I usually see 20.1 psi. Oh and does anyone have a link to the actual owner's manual for the EVC V? I have it on my other pc but can't seem to dig it up here...

HKS recomended to set it at 100 for the offset. the offset more than 100 is gona make your boost come sooner but less peak, if you lower your offset less than 100 (75 is the most)the boost is gona kick in a little late but harder cause more peak. so it's up to you guys
i use HKS EVC 5 psi version...........offset A at 75 offset B at 100 both gain around 80% which is 21.7psi.
usually people use set A offset 75 is for race gas. cause it's kick harder.

I put mode B (high boost) on 150 for my offest and it didn't seem to kick in as hard. I also noticed my boost went down as well. Should you turn it up to compinsate for it going down? Cause the car seemed slower to me. I put it back on 100 and the boost seemed to kick in much harder.

Shed some light fellas.....

I have my offset on 110 right now. So your saying to turn in down to 75? I'm just trying to get this thing to hold boost. When I look at the screen it's jumping back and forth and never holds rock steady. Seems to spike at about 21.8, holds about 20.8 til 5000 rpm, and then falls off some more.

It takes forever for mine to spool when I have my offset at 100, I'll try playing around with it some more today. Set at 150 the car really feels right, doesn't feel as though it's pushing too hard as far as spool goes. I encourage more to share their settings for this unit.

Thank you,
Josh

I tried my high boost offset 70 and still thinks my car hits boost harder and holds boost better set to 100-110.

Now...when you mess with the offset are you suppose to mess witht he boost at all? When set on 150 the taper seemed to be horrible and when set to 70 my normal boost setting would cause the "warning" to go off. I had to turn the gain down to almost 60% to get it to stop.
