New EVO 8 product - Pro Street Lightweight Flywheel

We would like to take a minute to introduce a new product that we have been working on for quite some time, and finally we have received our first batch for stock. We guarantee our flywheels for 1 year against any manufacturing defect. If anything is wrong (other than normal wear), we'll replace it!

With great success on our own EVO, and a few of the EVOs we are currently building and sponsoring, we would like to introduce to you our Pro Street Lightweight Flywheel. The EVO 8 application weighs in at 10.45 lbs, and coupled with a ACT clutch has shown great results. We like these flywheels with both the street disc and 6 pucked ACT clutches.

Our flywheels are made from 4140 Forged Steel, and our Ultra Lightweight flywheels create a great benefit of having a steel flywheel. Though it does not create additional horsepower, the flywheel does allow the engine to more rapidly transfer its power to the drivetrain. Due to its reduced mass, it allows an engine to have quicker throttle response and rev faster under acceleration. For turbo vehicles, the flywheel allows for faster spooling and greater power potential.

Meets SFI 1.1 or 1.2.

If you guys have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask. Wholesale inquiries welcome.

We currently have it on special for $319.99, or with a ACT HDSS clutch for $699 (6 puck), or $729 (street disc).

More info can be found here: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...d.php?t=122811

Thank you!

UPDATE: Pro Street Motorsports' Chromoly Flywheels are featured in Sport Compact Car!!

Nice!

I may need a clutch at some point, and I had great luck with an ACT in my N/A GSR Integra. I had a bad experience with an Exedy in that car, when I reused the stock flywheel. When I changed to the ACT, I also had a Spoon chromoly flywheel installed. Felt awesome, revved quick, gripped well, and lasted until I sold the car...

I like the idea of a chromoly flywheel vs aluminum, since I've heard that it has better tolerance to heat and whatnot. Anyone have any experience with this particular flywheel or more input on chromoly vs aluminum. I know other members have had good experiences with the Fidanza flywheel (aluminum) as well.

Thanks,

FB

Very nice Alex but I am still happier that I bought the Fidanza aluminum unit since it has a replaceable friction ring and is only 9.6 lbs. I do love the ACT clutch set I purchased from you (at a great price and fast delivery).

I guess. They are both round and have teeth, but the center section is different and the outer ring is different. Check the pics again. Maybe they've posted different pictures because they aren't really close at all.

Absolutely not. ACT doesn't even have an EVO flywheel.

We did post a different picture, actually the picture changed since we are also introducing our flywheels to the Honda, Subaru and Mazda crowd as well.

We are very proud of our flywheels. They are like no other flywheels on the market, and we even include a one year manufacturing defect warranty. That says a lot, since we are standing behind our product.

These flywheels are *awesome* coupled with an ACT clutch!

It's nice to see Prostreet has changed the picture of the flywheel...

The picture that was posted was the same as the picture I presented. I would not have made my statement otherwise.
