The APS High Flow intake manifold for the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution represents a massive improvement over the stock component.
By removing the primary runner dog-leg, which is a provision for right hand drive installation, primary runners are now straightened and the inlet port floor approach angle is now maintained. Along with a 20% tapered runner cross sectional area, charge air flow through the inlet manifold is significantly increased throughout the RPM range.
Extensive development has gone into the plenum chamber design in order to achieve what is arguably the ultimate EVO intake manifold for left hand drive applications. Volume has been significantly increased along with a corresponding increase in entry size to accommodate larger throttle body mounting.
Most significantly of all, the APS High Flow Intake Manifold is supplied complete with provision for a set of four auxiliary Bosch style fuel injectors, custom 5/8 inch I.D. fuel rail and high quality fittings.
When used with appropriate engine management, this is a true 650 Horsepower intake manifold.
By the way i went to your website and your lift numbers are wrong for the HKS 280 intake cam. The Exhaust cam has 10.2mm of lift but the intake has 10.8mm of lift just like all the rest. I got my set today and according to the paperwork thats what is says even though the HKS website states otherwise. Anyway just thought you would like to know.

Hey Jack, you must be going with a big turbo (35R) if youre considering 8 injectors? What are you up to bro I ran 785cc injectors with just a reflash and my driveabilty was as close to stock as can be. Spill the beans

That is ok I will just call my HKS rep and yell at im for giving me bad specs Thanks for hte heads up I will have our web guy change it today.
APS says they are shooting for a $600 MSRP on this intake manifold. Hopefully we will get some numbers from it. The good thing about this manifold is that it is cast. Sheet metal manifold sometimes have a tendancy to resonate and cause problems. And if not built properly can crack.

so anyone get this thing yet??? What does everything think about it?? I know some time has passed since this thread has had the last post, but I did a search, and this one seemed to be the best discussed about this manifold. Thanks!

..such a shame
they have been advertising the intake manifold and turbo upgrade for some time now with not one single production unit on the market.
seems like a waste of advertising dollars IMO
