APS High Flow Intake Manifold

Anyone see the APS intake manifold for the Evo VIII?

Could we use a Perrin Fuel Rail & Denso 720cc Injectors with this setup? It says that it uses a 'custom' fuel rail. Are we better off with this or Buschur's Extrude Honed Intake Manifold?

the plenum volume and the runner length/volume both look to not be ideal...

It uses two injectors per runner so normal rails won't work...

I think somone wanted to start an APS group buy and many people wanted that along with the BOV, it looks like a very nice peice. I think its less of a hastle to install over the other intake manifolds. Malibujack was looking into it so hes probally got more info than me on that particular peice.

extrude honed! you could allways paint it red, make more power for less money and still have a red intake

The intake manifold is scheduled for production in April. So it will probably be near the end of April or first of may that I can have one inside the US. This will be a good option for those people that don't want to tune bigger injectors but still want to make big power.

Is this based off the stock manifold? It looks nearly identical to me. What would be the ballpark price? Thanks!

I believe it is based off of it but it is not in final production yet so the manifold could change. I believe that they have made it quite a bit wider and have smoothed out the runners and made them bigger as well. As soon as we get one in we are hoping to have a side by side comparison of it to a stock manifold. And some dyno numbers to go along with it.
The main selling point for alot of people it the provision for aux. injectors. I don't think I need to explain why to anyone in here but if someone would like me to just say the word

I know that unless it is a quality piece with some quality number APS won't release it until they have perfected it. This is what makes their products so good.

Actually I'd seriously like to get one to evaluate.. I specifically want the dual injectors since they help drivability with primary injectors.. Any idea how much this thing is?
